Were they going for a world record? I've never seen anywhere near that many revolution kites in one place! That is insane!

Yes, they had hoped for about 60 but had enough experienced flyers for 64. They successfully did a number of team stunts and formations. I'm going to post another where they expanded from the 'eye in the sky'.
