Began my photography adventure in mid 2009 as a means of respite and therapy during the time my husband was in the final stages of Multiple System Atrophy, an aggressive neuro- degenerative disease.
Spending time capturing the beauty of the flowers and foliage in my gardens brought great comfort.
In the Fall of 2012 a friend challenged me to begin photographing the birds that often frequented the gardens. The first year I was able to capture images of more than thirty varieties within my gardens. 2013 ended with the count at 37.
