Great captures on the golden eyes, and love the bathing eagle. Thanks for sharing.

    MORE Urban Autumn~ CC's OK

I just want to add to Mike's comment with another praise for the leaf in the fence shot. I like the textures, colors, contrasts and the nature vs steel aspect. In my opinion, it is the strongest of these four images.

    Beautiful shots, Janice. Bravo. :)

    Wedding Photo help!!!

ME TOO!!! My son has been my number one fan for years. When he was engaged, he wanted me to take photos. I had been telling people for YEARS "I don't do weddings". For me, because it IS that once in a lifetime event, and so much can go wrong in people shots (little Jimmy picking his nose, Aunt...

    maternity shoot

I definitely love that first one. The lighting mixed with her expression, her eyes, her lips portray a sweet sense of wistful dreaminess. She looks so content and peaceful. Also, I see hope in her face being upturned towards the light. Love in her embracing the baby. All in all an excellent...

    Paradise evening

Thanks Rocky. A friend of mine (a pro from Ca) was going to come up to Rainier for the flowers this year until he heard there was none. I am going to let him know. He is pretty mobile

    Paradise evening

That is on Mt Rainier? I really do need to get up on that hill. I was proud that I actually saw it up close from below this year but as pretty as it was, THAT looks much more interesting and appealing.

    Fire on the Mountain

I always enjoyed firey sunset images but this is the first I have seen with large bodies of water instead of desert. I too favor the very first image. As far as the hiking guides, I learned the same thing in August taking a 'easy' hike that I found elsewhere was rated 'moderate' that was so...

    Heron portrait

Lovely shots. I am especially impressed with the detail on his/her wing and neck feathers. Very nice detail and color.

    Little Crater Lake

I gotta add I did a very quick search and found a site that doesn't explain it's unique formation, but does state that you can sometimes see Sand Hill Cranes in the vicinity. I had NO idea that those birds were in the PNW. Did you see any up there? Has anyone here?

    Little Crater Lake

Wow. That is CRAZY! I had no idea that even existed and I too, am curious about it's origins. Very nice capture of it as it definitely shows the depth/drop in it.

    Turnbull Wildlife Refuge...

Still, you got a very nice dragonfly. I had the same kind of luck at a spot in Elbe. Hoped to get beautiful lake scenery and Mt Rainier but couldn't see the mountain from where I was and the lake was 'eh' at best....but got myself a beautiful dragonfly that was very photogenic. I even touched...
