i don't usually bother shooting gulls... they're sorta like robins and mallards, so common they're not very interesting. but this pair of mew gulls flew by last night in just the right light at the Everett marina, and i kinda couldn't help myself...

I like Mew, Bonapartes and Herrmann gulls as they behave like real birds, not like feathered, begging beach rats. The winged beach rats do alert me to incoming eagles.
