since it's highly unlikely anyone would guess what this is, i'll spill the beans up front... it's a close-up of the bark of an old-growth cedar. i had set the camera up to get a close-up of the bark for my "textures" collection, but apparently the tripod tilt knob wasn't tightened enough, and the lens tilted downward during the 13-second exposure (it was almost dark when this was taken), resulting in this water color-ish effect. i was gonna toss it, but the more i looked at it, the more i liked it, so i'm keepin' it!! ;)
