I watched a small flock or CEWAs making repeated trips to fill up on pyracantha berries on Saturday. This individual occupied the same spot for a while.

In the fall look for bushes like the ones in Joe's photos. The waxwings love those berries. There is one at the top of Pine St. on Pt. Edwards that the waxwings have hit the past two years.

I am going to plant the bush that produces the pyracantha berries so I can catch a glimpse of these beautiful birds.
Maybe, just maybe, they'll show up in the south sound area.

Looks like you had some great light, Joe. I saw some in Seattle last week. Now if only there were enough berries so they would stay!
