Not A Speck Of Cereal

Hi all, this my second post, the first one being in the Introduce Yourself forum just now.

So I was lamenting to some friends about how I have yet to get really good fall colors and posted this of an example of what I have yet to attain:

I immediately got an answer from someone who said "you live on the wrong coast". I'm was probably joking, but I'd like to prove him wrong.

So this may a repeat--feel free to link me to previous threads. My questions is "where do I go for the dazzling colors in this state"? In the past I've heard Leavenworth. How about others? Any tips about where specifically in this places I should go?
