excellent! i've been to this spot, but there was too much water going over the falls to get a shot like your second one here... a very different and interesting viewpoint! is there any kind of trail down to the riverbank these days?
 
There is a trail down. Actually a couple, some kind of steep. But once you are down there you have to go in the water; there is no bank to walk up.

yeah, i did that spot a couple of years ago... kind of a goat trail down the side of the cliff, ends on top of a big rock, and ya have to wade to get to the cove beside the falls... that water is COLD!!!
