Osprey I find such fascinating birds of prey. There not like any other raptor. This one had the crow nailed a few times and did not attack the crow.
These two dueling in the air, the crow out maneuvering the Osprey, The Osprey with superior speed. A great one on one dual.
Not the best photos I have crafted, Taken yesterday in light rain and gloom. R.J

I love osprey as well. I still have not gotten the osprey shot: an osprey catching a fish at close range.

One of my photos was used in the book (page 170). Unfortunately I did not get credit for it.
Lesson learned: If you get a request for one of your photos to be used in a book, deal directly with the author and not through an intermediary like I did.

Here are the three amigos. This was a few years back, three siblings just before fledging. Once free, they were just fantastic to watch. R.J
