Found only on the western coasts of Washington, Oregon and California... in WA, only south of Chehalis. This one was seen about halfway between Chehalis and Willapa Bay...

Good catch. I have never seen one, but that is not surprising given its limited range. At first glance it doesn't even look like a moth.

Thanks, Bill... When I first saw it, the first thing I thought of was the old Dracula movies!! LOL
