    Wow ..... thats a great shot. I think the isolation of the bloom is what makes it ..... there is almost no detail in the background.

    What a great idea - to have a NW region forum. I grew up in Kirkland WA, but moved to Victoria in 1971 and love it. My wife, Jan and I like to escape the rain and head for Mexico in our truck / camper for the winter. It might be nice to have a place to share "distant journeys" within this...
