    A fantastic year I'd say. The March photo is a great one...I remember seeing it when I joined the Forum and its worth re-posting for sure. The red heels shot is also an eye catcher, I could see it on a billboard.

    I have to agree, id go without the wingtip. If u had more of the hawk it would be nice but its still a nice set with good light. The first one with both birds does a good job of telling the story.

    I don't think it matters.... the general rule is don't have the horizon dead center. Obviously the subject determines whether or not you have sky or ground take up more space.

    I like the truck and the barn shots. Couple tilted horizons in the bunch but good to see you back on here. I often get some tilted shots myself and fix in PP.

    Getting out of my comfort zone

    Ok. I didnt think the lines looked that distracting in your shot but I have been trying to perfect removing stuff like this and I figured it'd be good practice. Again, I like the colors from the trees, and the sky looks unique which is always adds good punch to those shots outdoors. Cheers

    Good use of HDR IMO (Im assuming its HDR). You see a lot of old trucks or barns in HDR but these look good like this. A unique image, in a good way.

    First off welcome to the forum. You can learn a lot here and dont feel intimidated. I shoot Nikon but I think Canon has a speedlight that offers wireless off-camera abilities which I have found gives a lot of creative freedom if you will. I just went to the Canon Speedlight page...

I have my first solo wedding on the books but I wouldn't be doing it by myslef now without several other weddings shooting secondary.     Oh and it can be very valuable to go early to the locations to scope out nice posing spots. Get a feel for the lighting before you're in the middle of a wedding. I've done 3 weddings secondary and I'm just starting to get comfortable.
