    well, at Rose City, I saw how hard it is for them to police it, because everyone & their friends have dslr's, so you have to distinguish who is shooting more than they should ... then confront them, and take them at their word ... one guy (who does sell) was escorted out ... but I saw him back...

    Steve, considering the conditions you were working in, you done good!!! now, this weekend, we'll put you in a barn with 1/2 the light of the last one, bump your ISO up to 12800 on a 50D and sit you ringside ... then the real work begins LOL

    you nailed it on the saluki movement shot, the whippet & gsd are just a fraction off on timeing ... good shots overall were you there in "official" capacity? didn't see your name on the premium :) most shows have gotten so sticky about us going in & just shooting anymore ... at Rose City I...

    heck, my belt is broken on my vacuum, and I can't even get the bottom open to replace it ... don't know how people can "live" without looking like they live there

    I'm always impressed, with real eastate photos, how empty & uncluttered a lived in home can look LOL guess I missed that lesson :)

    biggest tip would be don't crop tail (or limbs) animals are shot like people (in our thinking) and a missing part of a limb is, well, missing LOL that said, it is a unique angle, I tend to like to be at eye level or lower than the animal whenever possible also, not sure red is the color for...

    I know there is at least one herd near Burns LOL it jumped out in front of me up in the Steen Mtn Range and I almost drove off a cliff, while my daughter masterfully burst of a ton of shots ... then we had to figure out what they were, as I'd never seen them before LOL
