    most trials there is no charge to get into, the big one "Rose City Classic" at the Expo Center in Portland in two weeks charges for parking & entry ... a couple of others I've been to charge for parking (when they're attached to some of the AKC Conformation shows) but majority are free all the...

    geez, I only had a turtle neck, T-Shirt, sweatshirt & jacket ... was frozen to the bone, but slow traffic going home gave me a chance to thaw a bit LOL

    Leia, yes AI Servo ... :) the 50D gets knocked around by those who think it is a cheap XXD camera, but Canon only have two other bodies that equal or beat it for low light sports capabilities, and they are the 1DnMIII and the new 7D ... the worst thing about the camera is it is a 16+MP camera...

    itz all about tracking & timing LOL shoot a few hundred dog runs & you'll get there :) the problem with the whole set up, is at f/2.8 your DOF is sooo shallow, that you have to be locked on to the right end of the dog LOL ... to practice, go shoot birds in flight, same principle

    Rocky, love the water shot I'm jealous, I never take time to shoot the little things, even find myself driving down a road saying oooh that's pretty, and not having the time to stop and shoot the scene LOL

    beautiful, reminds me of those Virginia Farm pics you see everywhere :) all the barns I seem to shoot don't really have pretty colors, often no roofs or walls LOL heck, I'm lucky if I find one still standing LMAO

    Chris ... last pic ... west end? on Cadero (sp?) I think my Aunt used to have a condo there. I grew up in Comox, thanks for the pics of van, it's been a while since I've been there :(
