    Update 2019

    Just wanted to give an update. 2019 has been a great year into October. Union bay has finally calmed down and started to attract more birds back. Sadly the resident Osprey did come back in the Spring, but did not nest. They lost both chicks last year. Good news, I finally got those crafty...

    Short Ear Owl

    Crafted at Leake Island in February 2015 with the original 7D. I just spent a couple of hours tromping thru the wet trails with not much to be seen. I put my camera in my car and was ready to head North farther into the Skagit. This guy just fly's and lands on an old post next to the parking...
