    I Heard Thunder...

    imo - the most optimal daytime lighting is not sunlight foregrounds with blue skies. It is sunlit foregrounds with dark ominous stormy skies. Beautiful. Did you guys get any lightning with that?

    Yet another tulip thread

    I like the choo choo!! LOL :D Also, I really enjoyed the sunlight coming through the petals as well in the white fringed shot and the last wide angle shot. Great colors. I wish we could have gone last Saturday and am glad you guys did so we can see your spoils.

    A couple from Nisqually NWR

    The Osprey are all over the Vancouver, Washington (Columbia) river banks right now. We never left Vancouver and saw them in several spots. Each new bird was a great surprise as I had never been that close to even one. A friend said they even nest on the Columbia river bridge.

    WOW!!! WOOD DUCK!!! I am so jealous. I will trade you NINE ospreys for ONE male wood duck. :) And congrats on seeing and catching the nesting hummer too. Another great score.

    The processing on this brought out some lovely colors. I like how the purple, orange and green work together.

    This was taken without a tripod, in the rain and was underexposed. To get SOMETHING out of it when I got home, I ran it through an HDR software.

    Nice lighting in deed. I was out shooting osprey yesterday too. I couldn't believe how many were out. I love those birds and you caught them very well.

    AHA!!!! We saw tons of these last weekend driving down the road. Didn't know what they were. Then we walked through a marsh. I told George it smelled like SKUNK had been there. Now I know why. Thanks for the ID on this lovely shot. :)
