    spring is on its way!

    Now this is good, the flower in the foreground is bright but not too bright, has a bit of softness to it also. then the background blends to dark on the edges, which to me leads me to the flower first off. that said Rocky: great work!!

    Rain I'm glad you caught my joke about Portland rain..LOL I lived in Vancouver 1983 and 1984, and I saw enough rain in one season to fill 10 years in Eastern Oregon. I'v seen some plants blooming this month in Willamette Valley, from photos in here, maybe those blooms are from last year...

    The birds

    Number 4, thats good shot, I see the ground has a distinct line of "Field of Depth" It brings the attention to the birds, I dont think you were shooting grass. The 2nd and 4th bird looks fuzzy, but I dont know how far out those two were from the 1st and 3rd.

    Someone talked about Movie Maker, I do have that and its on Windows 7-64bit. I should try it out.

    Video is usually clockwise one notch from "Auto" Movie camera with the two film canisters on top.

    All my video camera's never had any focus or aperature manual settings, the last full video camera I had, 8MM tapes, had zoom, record button, and the usual funtions for playback in VCR mode. So i am used to full long range depth of field, My P&S style fixed lens works great for both photo and...
