    best bufflehead ever

Really nice, Rocky. Water that color looks unreflective... yet his likeness is sharp and clear... a funny visual for me. So glad it is the season to shoot. We will be seeing more of yours like this. Have a great week! C.

    Zachary

Hi, Rocky. I too lost a cat last October. Her name was Sassy and she was my first female kitty. I loved her so much.... I am sorry for your loss. I will always miss Sassy. Here she is. She was soooooo cute!

Great shots, Rocky. These look like they were taken right up there with the planes. You WERE on the ground, weren't you? :) C.

    Douglass Squirrels

Those are beautiful shots, Janice. I didn't even know about Douglass Squirrels till we went to Stubb Stewart St Park three or four years ago. It was awful. The only good thing was these tiny black squirrels we saw there. We didn't know squirrels got that small. A week later, a Douglass...

First Stab at Dog Agility Photography

You are toying with us, Steve. The composition on these shots is wonderful. Less than half of them have the dog centered.... just right I would say. The whole series works very well. Can't wait to see your second attempt. C.

Shhh, Day Sleeper. . . do not disturb.

Nice photo, Janice. I don't have an owl shot either, Nina, your lens or not. I am working on it tho. I have been to the Tualatin Refuge and I missed the little guy. Drat. C.

    caution - elk crossing

Me too. Just responding to the first comment.... I seldom mess with the light/tone/exposure etc. that my own camera chooses. Automatic has been good to me. :D With an expert like Rocky behind the lens, no adjustments are necessary either. C.

    caution - elk crossing

Glad you like it. You could probably make it even better with PhotoShop. I am using Serif PhotoPlus X4. It's pretty good for the money. Good enough for my stage of expertise, anyway. I want to learn HD and all that stuff. And take a few panorama shots. That will have to wait a bit. See...

    caution - elk crossing

Rocky, I said I wouldn't post it but.... I'll take it down if you want me to. Just want to know if I have the right idea. I just selected "cloudy" for lighting conditions and this happened... C.
