Rocky,
I love it when this happens. Someone else sees a great picture and comments after it has lain dormant awhile and that brings it back for the rest of us to experience again....
This series of shots is the best of raccoons I have ever seen anywhere. From first to last, they are just...
Hit that fast button again.... I am a child of the sixties. Of course I love this! :) Amazing vibrancy for a photo... This is a drop of water? I see a funnel-effect?? You have created an optical illusion as well as a colorful piece of art. Thanks.
D., I have no other way to contact you.... Blunt way--I am an artist. I and a fellow artist are interested in this picture, have been since you posted it. We would like permission to paint this building. It would differ from this picture, of course (artistic license) but your picture would be...
Oops, hit the quick rate button by mistake, meant to comment at the same time to save space, sorry.
I must have been on vacation when you posted this. Another beautiful, one-of-a-kind entry. Movement in the drops that repeat the flower's flaming red. Harmonizing movement in the rippling...
D., The only reason I can't rate this one is I perceive a slight lack of sharpness that your other photo has....May I ask, have you tried sharpening it? Sorry if that seems rude. Just so you know, I only rate 10's. I don't know what a 9 or an 8 would be.... but I know a 10 when I see one. This...
Don't care if it was taken thru a window or not (a car shot! gasp!)--this is a phenomenal photograph. A train-car shot thru tinted windows? This shot couldn't have happened any other way then....only place in the world, right time, right conditions. And you. Notice the colors in the tallest...
Great photo, CC. I don't usually rate animal photos because I know so little about them, but this is a good photo in general. The dog really stands out sharply from the background which is itself beautiful. And despite being all black, you have made him a very colorful subject. Great highlights...
Well, Rocky, I hate to be the one to tell you this....
But you have just been removed from the world of photographers and all they enjoy, in fact, you are banned from the Universe as unethical, immoral and lacking class..... Please follow along on the big ethics discussion we have been...
This is lovely and really captures the feeling of the Gorge for me, sort of cozy yet awesomely huge at the same time. The subtle colors are nice too. C.
I love them too, Rocky....
Especially love the sea in the first shot, the look and feel of the waves.... the color depth.... beautiful. And the misty moody second shot is wonderful too. Wouldn't mind a cloudy day at the beach if it looked like that! C.
That's a beautiful shot, Rocky.
Makes me want two things, to visit the Seattle waterfront, and to buy those programs. :) C.
P.S. And while I am at it, may I borrow your camera for the trip? Just kidding. Mine would never forgive me....
Welcome, Jan.
Oregon welcomes you too. You will like the whole PNW. Pretty country. It takes all of us to be as big as Texas. :) Hope your move is smooth and that you are settled in soon. Grab your camera and start snapping. We are waiting.... C.
