Another Rose in B&W CC's ok

Very nice, Christena. Well done and good luck!

Be careful when in the rain.

I didn't know that Rocky lived in your backyard, Janice. I hope your grill is ok, 033. I'm still smiling. So funny. Great capture.

Indeed, great news! Congrats. It seems you must have had some good karma stored away for just the right time :)

    The birds

Janice- canon 100mm f2.8 macro. Nannybear- thanks! Julie! Thanks. That lil guy is what they call a coot.

    The birds

Dude. Snuffy- If you had read all the previous posts in this thread you would have seen that the typo issue had already been adressed, laughed about, and put aside. That is most likely why you didn't recieved a response to your MSG. And the fact that you said nothing about my photos.

    The birds

Thanks, Rocky. Yeah, I'm lovin' this lens. I've gone through my share of cruddy lenses, and finally decided to drop the coin on this badgirl. I'm so glad I did. All that I have been working with for the last few months was my 20-35 wide. It was very frustrating; not being able to get close to...

    ice cap

Great abstract look to this image. Turbulent and cold, I feel.

    The birds

I hope you get to feeling better soon, Christena. The crud sure is going around. Everyone I know has had some form of it or another recently. And apparently I did have one goose shot! It's not the highest quality, but it's nice and colorful. Here are a few more photos from yesterday. If...

    A Bear in the Air

I didn't see the "rotationally compensated for" image. I'm going to look right now. Yeah, these are incredible. He did an amazing job. Although a ton of work, shooting a shower sounds like a lot of fun. You never know exactly what you're gonna get. So cool.

    "Zen"

Very nice and rocky, Rocky:D This whole series is great. This shot makes me feel like I could slip away into it. I could definitely see myself pruning bonsai with this image overhead. perfect.

    A Bear in the Air

WOW. Those are incredible. I can't even imagine how much work that would have been. If my math is right, that's 3 hours of exposed shutter, and that's just the beginning. I noticed that he said his ISO was really high and that he didn't like the noise. I wonder if you could shoot something...

    A Bear in the Air

I love that whole area. The lack of light pollutio makes for some great stargazing. I like to camp on the osprey management roads on Crane Prarie reservoir. The camping is free and the trout fishing is second to none.

    Nyquil for the win!

    A Bear in the Air

Very cool, Janice. I take a trip in August every year up to the high cascade lakes just to watch the meteor showers. Space mesmerizes me.

    The birds

OMG. This is tooooooo funny. I'm sorry you are under the weather, but you made my night with this one. I'm glad you liked the images, and I think I will shi...shoot birds more often ;)

    The birds

I thought that these were intentional typos!?
  17. HoedadKid

    The birds

Christena- LOLOLOL. This lens is super sharp. I love it. I couldn't get close to any geese today. They usually pester the crud out of us anytime we take a walk in this park. Not today, though. Janice- Thanks, I couldn't resist shooting the coot. He was running circles around me as I was lying...

    A Bear in the Air

Nice! My favorite constellation! This would make a neat side by side, framed in black. What is lighting up the trees in the foreground? porchlight?
  19. HoedadKid

    hope... or defiance?

    Defiantly hopeful ;)

    Brrrr, it's cold outside!!

I think this is a sensational image, Ron. Super well done. Perfect light. Wow, I love it.
