    What a great place to share these lovely owls. Shooting wildlife is always a challenge. Many a naturalist and photographer have left without seeing a snow leopard, so seeing one 1-2km had to be a treat just the same. "Only saw three tigers." Heck I'd be happy to see a cougar with my camera...

    Thank you, Bill. The mild winter has left a large population of Prairie Dogs. There was a village in one of the neighboring fields which attracted many Bald Eagles. It was an all you can eat buffet. Prairie Dog by Janice L, on Flickr

    Found these on a road trip to the Wildlife Refuges of the Klamath Basin. This is a busy year for Bald Eagles in the Klamath Basin. I've been asked not to share the exact location, however the word is out. We drove around a few area roads to find this pair and just one other car who we also...

    I haven't seen GHOs in the Tualatin Refuge for years and never learned where the nest was. Ridgefield had similar reports of owl harassment, but that tree blew down prior to last years nesting season. There are owls to be seen in Ridgefield, but I have no idea where the nest is.
