    The Barred Owl. I was lucky to catch them mating tonight, unfortunately not with my camera. Still fun to watch. I am hoping for owlets sometime in the future. :)

    Wow, how did I miss this thread. Great shots, Chad. I read an interesting comment in another forum. Questioning whether it was the right thing for the attempted rescue or if they should have let nature take it's course. I wonder if the one eagle eventually loses his eye.

    I prefer to see the streaking raindrops and the ones being shaken off the bird frozen in time. Things don't always need to be frozen mid-air.

    That first one is looking a little miffed at the weather. They must be earlier. I was looking at some old GHO owlet photos from my neck of the woods and they are much later. Are those guts on the tree limb? :b
