    Friday the 13th

Beautiful shots Janice. I'm torn between the second and third one as my favorites.

Mt Rainier 2011 - twelve months of the mountain

Great shots! I like December best because of the clouds but March runs a very close second.

Does anyone meet up and take photos?

I'm up for this as well, anywhere in the central/north Willamette Valley or even the Columbia River Gorge or the Oregon Coast.

Does anyone meet up and take photos?

I'd love to meet up somewhere and probably could with enough notice. I live near Salem, OR so I'd definitely need plenty of notice as it's a 3-1/2 hour drive to Seattle. I'd also only be able to do it on a weekend. I think it would be great to put faces and voices to the words on this site...

Finally got out on vacation, Traveling the Southwest daily updates....maybe

Nice shots Chito. I'm envious. I hope to make down there one of these years, especially to Brice and Zion.

    Wachlella Falls

Nice shots Rocky. Wahclella is one of my favorite destinations in the gorge. I've posted a few on here as well. I've been planning on posting a few more but I'll wait.

    Multnomah in one

Another great shot Rocky. I see you caught it at the right time with no one on the bridge as well. A slightly different angle than mine. I like it. (and thanks for not hijacking my thread... :))

    Multnomah Falls

Thanks Bob. This was one shot. I used my Zeiss 16-80 with a 16 mm focal length. F/20 on the aperture and 1 second exposure.

    Multnomah Falls

Thanks Rocky! I think I will. Again I appreciate the comments and suggestions.

    Multnomah Falls

I like this. I also took your advice and tweaked mine a bit. I increased the saturation to bring out the trees and then sharpened it a bit. Here is the result.

    Daring to Be Different

Thanks Rocky. I appreciate the comments and help. I'll have to play with this one some and see what I can do with it.

    Daring to Be Different

Interesting take. I like it but to be honest, it takes away from that one leaf standing out from the rest. That's what I liked the most on this shot. Hmmmm....

    Daring to Be Different

Perhaps cropping in some way is in order. Hmmmm....I'll have to play around with it and see what I can come up with.

    Multnomah Falls

Thanks Rocky. Hard to explain the magenta tone but I see what you mean. Weird! I have to confess, I cloned the people out of the photo that were on the bridge. Fortunately there were only twp or three people.

    Daring to Be Different

Thanks Rocky. I agree. I like the first one better myself. Right after I posted these I realized that the second one wasn't quite as sharp as far as the bright leaf is concerned. I also found it interesting that the one leaf was brighter than the rest, but hey, who am I to question Mother...

    Multnomah Falls

Yea, I know everyone and their brother (and sister, and aunt, and uncle....) has shot Multnomah Falls, from darn near every angle. Well, this is my shot at it too. :) C/C welcome and encouraged!

    Daring to Be Different

Just a couple I shot this past weekend with my new camera. These were taken at dusk in my backyard. I just happened to see this very bright leaf amongst all the other dark ones. I used my pop up flash and this is the result.
