Oh nice pictures too. ;)

Random thought: I wonder what the wife is going to make for dinner tonight? :)

Very nice. The last few times I went, it was either foggy (which did add to the effect of my photos) or the spray from the falls was so bad I couldn't get close enough to get a decent shot without getting soaked.
Maybe I'll head there this weekend if the weather will cooperate.

Right in my backyard....well almost. I live about 20 miles from the park, give or take. I love it up there. Did you do the entire Trail of the Ten Falls? I highly recommend it although spring is the best time because not all the falls have good flow this time of year.

Just a few I took on a recent trip with my wife to the Portland Rose Garden. Comments/criticism welcome and encouraged.

If only it were possible!! :)

Nice shot. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Never seems to happen to me.

To add to what Bob said, I never take critiques personally as long as they are, as Bob said, a critique on the photo. If it's towards me, then I tend to get a little excited. I like to welcome critiques on my photos. I've only been shooting digital photos for a couple years and I've got a lot...

If this is the Fern Falls I'm thinking of, these are in northern Idaho, northeast of Couer d'Alene.

Great shots! My wife and I are heading up there next month to do some shooting. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch some wildlife like this as well.

I like this shot. One of those "right place - right time" shots. It always seems as though whenever an opportunity like this comes for me, I either don't have my camera or by the time I get it out, the opportunity is gone.

Here's a few I took a couple years ago. These were shot from a small turnout along the road to Johnston Ridge. The wind was so bad up there that getting a clear shot inside the crater was impossible. All that dust you see coming out of the crater is volcanic ash. The lighting that day was...

Love the comments. Only the Scots would come up with a game in which the object is to humiliate the player (Golf).

I like the first and the last best. Great shot of the bird. Like Bob said, the bee in the first one really sets it off. The bee was the first thing I noticed in that shot. Well done!

I'm with chitobeach. I have a Sony A350 and I love it. I'm saving up though to either switch to the A55 with the translucent mirror or saving even more and jumping up to the A900 full frame. I'd stick with the Sony but that's just my two cent worth. :)

WOW! Nice shots. I especially like the second one. Great color.
