    I have to agree, all very nice shots. Especially working in harsh mid day sun. Nice clarity in the water. Were you using a polarizer on those lake shots?

    I'm enjoying your photos, I especially like the the group shots. Do you the story of what's happening in the last shot? The vapor appears to be forming and trailing from the cockpit area?

    Very nice. I often do this too, overlooking an image. Sometimes because other more pressing work needs to be done. Then later rediscovering, like treasures in the attic.

    Sorry Bob if it appeared I referred to you in the third person. I do a slight variation to this, but all of the same elements are included. Most importantly I adjust the opacity, usually to about 32%, of the orton layer after bringing it back over the original.

    I'm curious too how you run your Orton effect, or how Bob would use two images. I use a very simple method with one image duplicated.

    Very nice, must be a great year for waterfalls with so much late rain. I'm not familiar with this area, but I would bet that in a typical year the flow would be much lower by now.

    Good photo for this effect. Many times when I use this effect my wife says "now it looks blurry", but on the right photo I like the dreamy surreal look.

    I've waded through and stood in those creeks, never that long. Bone chilling cold, made my joints ache. But, that was in August!!! I'm sure I would have waited on the bank.

    Great shot, your early rising and perseverance has paid off. Curious what time you shot this. If I estimate a bit...on the trail at 5 am, the hike in about 2.5 miles, half mile side trip down the canyon to the creek bed, stand in the creek for an hour... I'm guessing about 7 am. Of course...

    Thanks Rick, I'll look forward to that. Great shot of the water lilly. I had not heard of the water gardens before. This is the main reason I began to seek out this forum, to find interesting places to shoot in the PNW. Places that are less known and not on the typical tourist stops.

    Welcome Rick. Always nice to see another local res in the forums, (Portland area). I am very interested in the giclee process, although I know enough to realize it's not something to pick up as an amateur hobby. Perhaps one day I can come over and see your work and process.

    Great shots Janice. Really like the perpective compositions of shots 4 and 5. All are great shots though and strong inspiration to get out there. Is this near Huckleberry Mtn?
