    Wenatchee Locations

Try some of the orchards and fruit stands. There are some nice places in the park along the river and downtown has a lot of antique shops with nice photo ops. Just outside of town there is a large public garden. I can't remember the name of it right now but they have info on it at the Chamber...

    Cute Couple

I wish I had known you were there. I have been wanting to meet you for a while now. And thanks Pops for including me in that "great minds" comment. This young man was so polite that he called me, (the other way you can use a phone), to thank me for the photos. They were so cute and so nice.

    Cute Couple

Went to Woodland yesterday for the Hulda Klager house and a trip to the grist mill on Cedar Creek. Got some good shots at both, but the lilacs could probably use another week to be ready. However we did make it back to the Tulip Festival in time for the perfect evening light. Always in...

    A couple from Malheur NWR

Beautiful shots. The feeling of depth in the owl photo is very powerful. All of the colors, light and shadow feels like being there.

    A Day at the Park

Took a little walk around Fort Borst park in Centralia last week and found that spring really was making an appearance. Trees and shrubs were in bloom, ducks were swimming, gulls were hiding inland from storms on the coast, river otters were frolicking and one lone white goose with pretty blue...

    Spring Storm

Steve, did you apply an Orton technique to this or is it directly out of camera? It has a very surreal look. Nicely done as usual.

And did great justice to it too. Great shot. Thanks for this cheerful focus on my favorite flower and of spring.

    The birds

Here is a photo from the Wiki page on these ducks. I downloaded another file but can't seem to find where it went.

Some of JDueck's favorite photos of 2010

Love the perspective on the bench... And, I can relate to the baseball shot since we just got rained out of our second game of the season. Can't wait to get back out there and get some shots of my son's senior year.

    The birds

Checking my "Western Birds" guidebook, it shows that as the female American Wigeon. You have a photo of the male in #7. It even says the female is confused with the Gadwall and Pintail except for a gray to dark gray bill.
