    gettin' used to the 7D

Beautiful Rocky! I love how crisp the shots are and still full of character in both of the birds. (You must have a very nice camera because it takes such nice photos.)

Bill, the "artsy" photo is very cool and now my favorite of your photos. The red-winged blackbird is very photogenic and for the most part, easy to find. But this photo is so different from the usual capture of this beautiful bird. Great stuff!

    More D.V.

E, the first shot is very cool. Something so different from the usual shots of Death Valley and so much detail. The second with the hills is also very nice. Well done!

Oh, Christine, that is an easy one... Baughb calls those LBJs... Little Brown Jobs!

    Thoughts...

The part of the photo that stands out to me is the sky. The clouds have so much variety in color and detail that a slight touch of HD could really take to the next level. I say print it as a test at Costco or Sam's Club, (for the inexpensive version), check those results and then decide if you...

    More Death Valley

Very pretty. Hard to believe there are little hidden gems in an area that looks barren and deserted...

    2012 Memories

Yes, you can take a camera and you can shoot in the public areas inside and out and even in the gift shop if you like, but you cannot shoot inside the main gallery.

    Finding Bordeaux,

Up for a hike when it isn't muddy... Never been there.

We live in such a wonderous place... So much to see and do without even having to leave home. Nice shots. I especially like that the Bushy Tailed Tree Rat "smiled" for his portrait and that the last little bird has antenna.

Bill, I can't say how happy I am that you posted the Sora shots. I love all your little bird friends and last year, caught a glimpse of a bird I had never seen before... My first Sora, but they are soooo elusive that it was the very camoflauged, duck and run into the underbrush. If we hadn't...

Looks like Eeyore will be updating his facebook status... "Oh woe is me! Try to be nice and you get bit in the behind!"

    ID this eagle.

In some cases, is it wrong to wonder why they can do it and I can't?
