    Thanks, Janice. This tree held about 50 of them, but most were so deep in shadow that I couldn't get a decent shot.

    These bats were way up in a tree right next to our lodge in Kafue National Park, Zambia. The lighting was just good enough for the shot to work.

    Seen from the air, Victoria Falls is even more spectacular than at ground level. The earth has simply cracked open perpendicular to the course of the river. Immense amounts of water spill over the edge into the chasm, making an immediate 90 degree turn.
