    Mama Bullock's oriole with nesting material, Chehalis, WA... she's building her nest right above the parking lot for a paved bike trail, and with any luck, there may be photos of oriole fledglings coming soon! ;)

    Another rarity for the PNW is the white-rumped sandpiper, normally found in the east and midwest, and very rarely seen west of the Rockies.
