Spent this last Sat. with good friends enjoying the sun and was lucky enough to come home with these.

Not the best shot of the male harrier, but my best so far. They wouldn't come very close, so it's a heavy crop. Couldn't get the pheasant to fly toward the camera, but I was happy with this one.

Thank you. It was so backlit, I wanted to use some fill flash, but with the nest behind and to the left of the owl, I didn't want to disturb them too much.

On the drive to Malheur NWR in Oregon last week we took a quick round at Ridgefield. Not alot going on, but did get these.
