    Hello from Spanaway, Washington!

Welcome to the forum PhotoKats. Great spots for photos in your part of Pierce County are, the town of Steilacoom near the ferry docks, Solo Point on the water behind Joint Base Lewis/McChord and anywhere between Spanaway and Mount Rainier.

State Capitol has a lot of very nice places for indoor and outdoor shots. Marble, ornate woodwork, ornate metals and gardens. Water in the background, fountains on campus... You are only limited by your imagination.

Nice shots Steve... Must have missed you by just a few minutes or so. I had to leave early to be in Lacey for an appointment.

    What a surprise

Nice capture. I like the selective focus on the bird house and how that made the bokeh effect with the snowflakes.

    Sumner, WA. Tea House Garden

Just an opinion... I think you should go with the bee... Lots of good photos of flowers with water drops are out there but the bee makes the perspective unique.

He is a handsome fellow isn't he... Maybe I should try a murky, soupy bath like that... Think it would be good for the skin?
