    Thanks, Janice and Tony. I am planning to be back at "the spot" later today, and I will get there at least once a week over the season. Any time you want to joing me, let me know, it only takes a few hours in the afternoon :D

    Another Great Gray Owl

    Very Nice! Great job. What part of the state did you discover this one? I have not gotten a Great Gray, nor even seen one in the wild, but I'd sure like to add one some day. Just haven't gotten to the areas they inhabit. They sure are large, and like all owls, fascinating.

    Thank you very much. I shoot Nikon D300, this is with the 400mm f2.8 AFS-1 plus a Nikon TC-20-III. I always shoot auto-focus, these owls are way too fast for me to manual focus.

    Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep

    I agree with both prior comments, last thing I'd want to do is to annoy this bad boy :eek: We are planning a trip to the Yellowstone area in mid-April, hope to get some wildlife shots half as nice as this one.
