    Holbrook AZ

I had to make the permanent move to Central Arizona, leaving the wonderful Northwest. So all of you up north keep on posting your great pictures of the mountains, water and forrest. I'll share what I can from down south. The bride and I went to New Mexico to visit our daughter and her family. We...

    2012 Memories

Yes, Chihuly art it is. Located on the pedestrian bridge over the RR tracks. The Mountain, one of the best views on HWY 7. And the arm (arms if you saw both) are the result of cutting trees and schrubs then haulin by the arm load to be stacked.

    2012 Memories Part II

After sending some time in Arizona I was ready for a hike in the cool air of the mountains. Then it was time for another trip south where I spied this young fella entertaining the tourist with his "sticks" in Tombstone. I wish I had caught him in color. We then headed down to...

    2012 Memories

Had the truck in the shop and was walking the waterfront of Tacoma and found the light interesting on this sculpture. Just puttin around one morning out on HWY 7 and liked the fog in the valleys. I never did make it to Eatonville for breakfeast. A sunset from the bluffs at...

I really need some spring to come

I feel the same way. Really starting to miss "The Mountain" I've been sitting here running a slide show of warm, sunny shots. Memories!

Mt Rainier 2011 - twelve months of the mountain

As the others have said "great series" I love April sunrise at Clear Lake and the December lenticular clouds.

My Dinner, not Yours - SEO and Harrier

Mike is right, if there was more of the wing and/or the body of the owl. At first I thought the wing tip might be a lone branch.

My Dinner, not Yours - SEO and Harrier

Nice captures. I like the third one the best. Wings and tail flared with the detail and color. The fourth one I find the wing tip distracting. The eyes tell me the owl is scanning the area to protect its meal.

    Stop at Black River

While driving through the Littlerock area I crossed a bridge that offered up this view of the Black River.

    Lazy Afternoon

On the way to work and caught this paddler taking a break on the Foss waterway in Tacoma.

    Other views of the 4449

Great shot. You certainly found a good spot for the shot. I like how the smoke thins out over the cars.

    Too Cool Not to Share

Right place and time, best of all a place to stop. Love the way light plays off of the clouds on mountain peaks.

    Winter Hummers from this afternoon

Nice shots. Heck, I didn't know that the hummingbirds spent the winter here. We had to take ours down in September when the bees took it over.

    Shots From Northern California

Nice series of shots. I really liked the old abandon house, I can feel the cold and loneliness. Was this the same group of deer in the shots or different deer as they moved around the mountains?

    Beach Get Away

Its not what I meant at all. Just pointing out that it was a good place to stop for a drink and that the proprietors of Chito Beach Resort were busy. Next time I'am up that way we will stop to say Hey.

    Beach Get Away

We had a chance to get away for a few days in August, after a hectic first part of the month. We decided to head North up the coast. Due to a late start (guess who) we made our first real stop at Second Beach, Kopachuck. As we entered the forested path leading to the beach I was struck by these...

    Clouds

After one of the thunderstorms rolled through our area, out came the camera. First a few shots from the driveway. Then I shot a few more on the way into work.

Thanks Keith for clearing this "mystery" up. I knew someone on this forum would be able to give an answer to us. Terry
