    Ok. That makes sense now. I did some night shooting a few days ago and shot most of my images at f11. And I got that star pattern out of both the moon and city lights. ...learning something new everyday. Thanks, Tony.

    Getting right in the camera is definitely the way to go. I find myself getting lazy at times thinking " oh, I'll just edit that out." or "I can fix the light in Pshop." Then I have to slap myself. As to natural light- You can't beat it. Someday you may find that additional lighting at times...

    Woden- I'll mess with 2 again and see what I can come up with. Part of the illusion that is messing with my head is due to the slightly downward angle in which I took the shot. It seems to give the impression of more left tilt than there actually is. Although, I think you all are right in that...

    Thanks, all. As to the distortion in the second one, I give up with this lens. No matter what I do, at min to max focal length, I seem to get distortion which is really evident in architectural photography. If it's just a tilt problem, I can fix that in post, but the sphering is what I can't...

    I don't actually think Penicillin would kill it. I think you'd need some zinc sulfate. I feel stupid now. A Bryophyte, indeed. Sorry, I was very mosstaken before ;) I knew it was obvious...lol.
