    I've seen lots of bears but this is the first one I've seen in Mt. Rainier National Park. He was near the turn off to White River camp ground. These are from Suntop.

    Here is a brighter version. And yes, it's an HDR. I keep the HDR touch pretty light though. If people don't know, or aren't sure, if it's HDR, that's perfect.

    I didn't get quite the sky I wanted but it wasn't bad. The lighthouse is actually on private property so you have to walk down the beach and take photos from outside the fence. All feedback welcome . . .

    The image processing improvements are what I have been most excited about. The adjustment brush now allows you to do much more than before, also Those 2 things alone combined with Adobe lowering the price was more than enough for me.

    I re-worked some of the photos with Lightroom 4. Wow, it's incredible how much more details you can pull from the shadows in LR4 versus LR3!

    I don't think the contrast is too high but I probably would lower the brightness a bit which would result in showing a little more detail in the bright parts of the leaf, especially on the first shot.     I usually post with link to my images that are hosted elsewhere (Zenfolio most of the time for me). If images are posted elsewhere, I think you could include as many images as you want. Not sure what limits/rules are for images uploaded to the site itself.

    Mountain Goats in Western WA?

    You can see Big Horn sheep every winter at the Oaksprings feeding station near Yakima. For mountain goats, lots of hikes in The Olympics often have them. Mt Ellinor or Mt Wasington often have them. On Mt Washington I had two of them licking my backpack and brushing up against me.

    Well, they are close but Bob, I think you would have achieved deeper colors and less reflections with a polarizer.
