    Washington State Ferry HDR

The way in which you change camera settings is in itself an 'edit'. There really is no such thing as an un-edited photo.

    Washington State Ferry HDR

    Hope you don't mind . . . I took the liberty to play with it a bit . . .

    Washington State Ferry HDR

Looks to me like the white balance needs an adjustment. Was this an iPhone HDR? Its pretty amazing how far "phones" have come.

    "The Mountain"...

I love it. Very unique shot of Rainier.

    Multanomah Falls

Love that you got some not so "typical" photos from the falls.

    snipe hunting

Fantastic shots. I especially like the first one . . . the colors all go together very well and you show a little of the surroundings they they live in . . .

    Youth sports questions

From what I've read, as long as you are taking them in public, you can sell photos of anyone with no model release whatsoever. You only need a model release if you are using the photos to market/sell some product.

    In case you give a hoot . . .

Good stuff! Just wondering if anyone knows any good places to shoot owls in western WA?

    Nisqually NWR's Boardwalk

I go out there a lot but haven't been out since the board walk opened. I definitely want to get out there to check it out. Also wanted to mention, the Annual National Parks pass covers your admission cost as well, if you have one (something every photographer should have :) )

    Just Plane Foggy....

I love the photo and idea but like already mentioned, the halo around the plane is really distracting. I'm guessing it's from processing . . . maybe you can get rid of it.

    Malheur County Oregon's Golden Hour

Using the car to steady the camera is good, but I'd definitely open that aperture up to the max your lens is capable of for most of those shots (especially for the deer). I don't really see a reason to close it down to f/11 except for the shot of the tractor, perhaps. Those shutter speeds are...

    Malheur County Oregon's Golden Hour

It would be helpful to know what settings / setup you were using . . . looks like shutter speed may have gotten a little slow on those last two . . . tripod?

    New Camera

ditto! Very difficult to see the photos . . .

Febuary Eagles on the West End

I'm not sure about migration info specifically but Rockport and the entire Upper Skagit, is a good area. It's traditionally winding down by mid-feb though.

Febuary Eagles on the West End

Very nice! Is this near Neah Bay then?

a few random candids w my new D700

Wow . . . I need to get one of those cameras. The ISO 5600 shot is very impressive.

    Patriot Flag Takes Flight

"Little old lady gets ran over while Boy Scout is helping her across the street" . . . that'll sell :-)

    Patriot Flag Takes Flight

I thought it would be cool to see but I heard about it on the radio at 7 AM for that day and also heard it was only 30 mins . . . so no-go for me. Glad to see you made it.

    Adobe Lightroom 3

    . . . fair enough :)

    Adobe Lightroom 3

My point is, people are going to be more willing (and able) to help, if you help yourself first and ask slightly less generic questions. It's almost like asking "how do I use my camera" . . . just too generic to cover in any sort of short response. Anyhow, a good tutorial...
