    I gotta add I did a very quick search and found a site that doesn't explain it's unique formation, but does state that you can sometimes see Sand Hill Cranes in the vicinity. I had NO idea that those birds were in the PNW. Did you see any up there? Has anyone here?

    Purchasing a new Canon Lens??? Help???

    I agree with Janice. I own a Canon 400 (prime) that is sharp as a tack...but it is SO limited and often TOO much. I prefer my husbands 70-200 F2.8 as it is more 'usable' and we are planning on buying a doubler for it. My next lens is a 70-200 just like his.

    Nice detail. It is inspiring and reminds me I have been telling myself all year to get out and shoot some full moon shots and I just haven't done it. This Saturday s a full moon...Maybe it is time I get out and just do it.
