Got high to beat the heat.

Went up to the high forest of Mount Adams that is. Trying to beat the heat in my little old condo I thought I'd meet a friend and head up to Mount Adams and visit the Mirror & Bird Lake areas in the Yakama Reservation.

It helps to have a spirit guide when walking in the forest.

The lake was cool in the summer sun.

Cold, clear water sprang from the rocks.

Then it ran through the forest, giving life to the emerging blooms.

Too soon the sun went down and it was time to head head home.
