it's quite windy in the Hood River area, so anything that combines wind and water is popular in summer... sailboarding, kite-surfing, or just plain ol' sailin'... this skipper was tacking into the wind and had 'er heeled over pretty well - the phrase "rail under" comes to mind! taken from about 1/4 mile away with the 100-400 @ 400mm on the 5D2.
