This seems to be the year for unusual or rare visitors to this area... these are shots of a female yellow-bellied sapsucker that's been hanging around at Juanita Bay Park the past several days. These birds are normally not found west of the Great Plains, so this little gal is way out of her range! Glad to be able to get some photos of her before she disappears...
