very nicely done, Deka! crows can be tough to shoot - everything is black, and it's hard to get the right balance between the black of the bird and the highlights that give it detail. you got this one just right!

I was given a challenge by a fellow employee to photograph a crow because it is black.
She said it would be difficult but the position of the sun really helped bring out the contours of the body.
It surprised me that the black feathers were so reflective. I think the reflective water helped some as well.
I can't wait to show the photograph to her.

LOL - Given the number of crows that were in the area, yes, I'm glad to have made it to the safety of the car.
