That 60 mile stretch from Port Orford, Gold Beach to Brookings is some of the prettiest, rugged coastline anywhere.... and I've seen all of the Pacific & Atlantic coastlines in the USA.

Well in my case, it is planning that does it. And the right lens to get close.
I have Anna hummingbirds year round and study their habits.
Then I set up ahead of time and then it is a matter of patience, lots of it waiting, for them to show up at the flowers.

This is a little like that third picture. Just cropped from the one I posted.
Even though they look big here, the hummer is the size of my pinky and the flower bloom is the size of my pinkies nail. Just some perspective.

I had only 10 minutes to get the moon right before the clouds covered it at 8:30pm here in Tacoma.
I opted to zoom out from 420mm to 310mm so I could get the clouds to show decent.
