Agathla Peak, AKA "El Capitan" to the locals, is a volcanic plug rising 1500 feet above the desert just north of Kayenta, AZ. 40D, 21mm, 1/100 @ f/11
Nicely done. It makes me miss Arizona even more than I did before. Thanks for sharing
 
Volcanic plug? Yes, a spark plug! Doesn't it look to you, Rocky, as if it is generating an energy field? Your photograph makes that mound of rocks ;) seem worthy of worship, and perhaps it is....
