I have to make it up there. I love the earliest blanket of snow. The texture of the mountain stands out so much more than deep in the winter.

Hi Janice,
Yes, it well worth the trip, but the clouds are not always accommodating the photographer - I was waiting around for a long time for this window of opportunity - my toes were numb from the cold !
