Lady Washington at Point Defiance

Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA provides a pleasing natural backdrop for the Lady Washington.

She was sailing in Commencement Bay during a cruise that departed from Gig Harbor.

The "Lady" is a favorite subject of mine, and I've photographed both of the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport ships in much of Puget Sound. Very few locations offer a clean and uncluttered background such as this one.
