Old Growth Cedar Grove

This Old Growth Cedar Grove is located about 5 miles from Long Beach, WA, on Long Island in Willapa Bay. It is part of the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. Available only by boat, canoe, kayak, etc, these cedars were standing during the last "BIG" tsunami producing earthquake off the PNW coast occurring around 9 PM on January 26, 1700.
