    Scriber Lake Park, Lynnwood,

    I went searching for the Green Heron at Sprague's Pond today. I found it but it was not very cooperative. I did get a few good shots of some of the other birds:

    Wildlife of Edmonds, WA. 2016

    Beautiful shots Bill-I tried several times to get a close shot of the Common Merganser on Sprague's Pond but he just wouldn't come very close.

    Very nice Rocky-I love that warm soft afternoon light. Snipe can really be hard to find sometimes.

    Thanks Bill. I'm only 5 minutes from Scriber Lake so I will be hitting it often during spring migration.

    I spent three hours this morning birding all the trails at Scriber Lake Park but the Green Heron eluded me. I did however find a few species cooperative in the nice sun today.

    Just moved here

    Thanks guys. I am in Edmonds and have already checked out the pier, marsh, Yost Park and Scriber Lake Park. Looking forward to exploring other areas in the near future.
