    Jupiter sounds about right, I do know that it can be brighter than most of the planets, another thing is I wish I had got a shot very clear, but if NASA has to launch Hubble to get clear photo's then I guess mine wont be that good..LOL

    I been watching this planet for a few nights in Vancouver Wa. Not sure what one it is. its been coming up from the SE and about a 30* line, about 11 PM its about due south and 30 to 35* elevation, anyone know what one this is?

    Janice, the first one is outstanding, its got the right amount of color saturation. Rating? I will go 10....11? Fire/Moon, this is a great shot too! too bad the moon with the smoke made the photo look...hazy? or gives it a "glare"...

    I really like that first one Mike! Soft blue, but I am a fan of blue anyway.. Welcome to the forum! Anything you would ever want to find out? This is the place, I'v learned so much in here its stagering, but have a long way to go.

    2 and 4 look the same for what mike said on #2, #4 has the same background, 4A looks good to me, #3 not much DOF but it works in this because the out of focus background is all the same kind of flower. just a difference in opinions..LOL,

    Is this off of 95 on the way to Sandpoint? I've only been up Highway 95 to Sandpoint and Lake Ponderay, other than that I dont know.

    Was wondering if this is a 50/50 question, then I remembered that I did some 1/8th and it was too fast, so it has to be 1/4, or maybe 1/2.
