    Ducks are so entertaining :) Nice captures there! I love the wing shape in the first one, we don't often get to see anything but the blur of flapping or the folded against the body look.

    Zen is a great name for this image... it makes me feel very calm. I love that you can see the color of the rocks below the surface, just enough for an interesting background but not the least bit distracting. Really a lovely capture :)

    JaniceL - It was a good solution all around... I had some shooting opportunities while the family stayed warm in the car, and we didn't get stuck in the snow (apparently we made it out of the area just ahead of a 2 hour backup)

    I love how serious the shepherds look, and then the lab just looks like a goofball. Very nice job on capturing their expressions! The first shot, with the poles all lined up, is my favorite. I agree that the bright yellow tunnel is a bit of a distracting element as compared to the other shots...
