    Sitting in the snow

    From some reading I've done lately it looks like even when the nectar is out in the winter it's not a big part of their diet. They live off insects and will actually pick bugs out of the bark of trees this time of year.

    A little something from Eastern Wa.

    I think this shot of the barn is a bit nicer, but the angle didn't let me get the moon in. There was a lot of burning in fields and a prescribed burn up in the mountains behind me that caused some intetresting color castes to the light.
